In this post I will explain you about the tools necessary for the search engine optimization. The first and foremost work done before the process of optimization is the selection of niche.

The tools essential for the selection of this niche are the keyword elite and SEO elite. These two soft wares help a lot in the selection of the correct niche. If u select a wrong niche though you get ranked for that you may not get the desired traffic.

These soft wares are user friendly. They provide a lot of information necessary for the optimization. They provide information like the number of searches done for a particular keyword. The competition and standings of your site or blog for a particular keyword. This allows us to select the rite keyword to select and optimize.

But some investment has to be made for these soft wares. Keyword elite cost’s around $97 and SEO elite costs around $147. Though it sounds costly the money is worth spending for these soft wares.

For beginners it may sound disappointing. But nothing to worry even you have a way. Google itself provides you with this information. You can find this information in the adwords site. They will provide you with information about the search volume for the keyword, competition and the number of searches made in the recent past and all the information. It may not have all the information provided by Elite soft wares but it will be of lot of help for the beginners.

So before starting the project just select a good niche. Then just go through the Elite soft wares or the adwords tool and have a look at all the keywords and their search volume and competition and then select the write keywords and start your optimization.

For beginners I suggest to first select keywords with less competition though you have a lees search volume for that you will get into the first pages soon and that will help you in better ranking when you try for tougher keywords.

How to get Backlinks - 2

In the last post I was explaining about how to get backlinks without investing a penny. In this post I will explain you how to get backlinks through investment. Backlinks from valuable pr5 and more blogs or sites can be obtained thorough investment. But still it has some drawbacks.

Google may some times spy some sites which provide these backlinks. Hence we have to be careful before getting those backlinks. We should not depend on them for ever to get backlinks all our side track activities should be continued while getting our backlinks from these sites.

We should also not depend on a single site which provides these paid backlinks. If pr sites provided by that site are deindexed by Google then we may fall into problem. Register in more than one site and so that if one of them gets deindexed you will have another as a spare.

These sites can provide backlinks from sites having pr more than 5. But we should not get tempted with those page ranks. W should start with less ranked blogs in the beginning and later use the high pr sites.

Consistency should be maintained such that Google never thinks our site as a spam site. Initially we should get couple of backlinks per a week then we have to increase them gradually. A sudden increase in backlinks may warn the Google guys so must be careful in this issue.

I normally use sites like backlink solutions and link vana which provide me backlinks. I can get access to over 100 blogs a month for just 97$. But recently all the blogs under these backlinks solutions got deindexed but that didn’t matter to me at all as I never neglected the sources through which I get my backlinks. I’m still alive and I still rank for all my keywords.

How to get Backlinks

The factor that plays a very important role in the SEO field is a back link. The more effectively you get back links for your blog or site the more traffic it gets. More time should be invested for getting back links.

Most of the readers reading this blog are beginners and are not interested in buying links or may not have money to invest to buy these links. So how to get these back links without investing. There are a few techniques for that.

The first one is by using article sites and I think many of them must be familiar with technique. The more article sites you use the more juice you get. The first step is to make a list of free article sites where you can post your article with a back link to your site. When ever you have a new post for your blog just rewrite it and post it in all the article sites in your list. I already gave a list of a few article sites in one of my previous posts.

Article sites will have a very good ranking and whenever your article gets a good rank they will be indexed on the main which has a good rank and this gets you a back link from the ranked page.

The next technique which can be followed for obtaining free back links is through link exchange. For this you have to contact the people with good pr blogs. It depends on how you tackle them. If you can convince them you can have a back link from their blog. But better prefer a one way linking. Try to offer them a link from another blog of yours as link exchange may not add much juice.

Now we come to the most preferred technique used mostly these days. It is the usage of the WEB 2.0 sites or the social networks like mix.com, digg.com, propeller.com. You just have to post your article or a post on that site and they will be open for all viewers and if you get more votes then your page may get indexed in the front pages.

You can also use Squidoo and hubpages for getting back links. Google likes site like these and they get easily indexed on Google and gives you more juice. Just build a squidoo lens of a hubpage and put some back links to your site. Don’t forget to get some back links for them also.

The above discussed are the free techniques to get back links. Of course to beat the competitive keywords you need to have a back links from high pr sites and for that you need to have some investment. That’s why I suggest for beginners to select an easy keyword and optimize using these free techniques. After you start getting some money investment can be made to buy links and focus on competitive keywords.

Earn online in India

I just made a small research on people searching on the term make money online on net. I found that it’s the people from India who ranked in the top five. I observed that most of the Adsense clicks are found from this country only.

The people in India are keener to make money online. Most of them searching for these terms are students as there are very less opportunities for them to take a part time job. So many people come to internet to make some money. But many of them quit due to the lack of proper guidance. Even I started this searching for an online job when I was in college just to make some extra money but now I quit from my original profession and I’m making a living with this business.

If you are reading this blog then you are lucky that you are being guided by the right person. I can assure that my techniques will be helpful for the beginners. Even I passed all the hurdles before I got my 1^st earnings. I already passed all the sequences that are being faced by the beginners.

In India there are not many opportunities online when compared to other countries like US, Canada...Etc. but the techniques available are enough to make a sufficient living in India. Even Google Adsense is available in India. Many other affiliate programmes are also available in India.

The main problem in India is that the % of online sales will be very less. Many people fear of using their credit cards for buying goods online. So we have to concentrate more on Adsense than on selling products online to generate good revenue when we use an Indian based keyword.

You can also concentrate on other keywords which are focused in US, Canada…and can generate sales but the process will be hard when compared to that for the Indian Keywords.

The main point here is the niche that you select. It should be selected such that it has handy traffic. The more traffic a keyword has then there will be more people competing for the first place.

In my previous posts I explained in a step wise manner on how to make money online. You can also use those steps to earn online in India.

The most important thing that should be noticed here is that many people enter this field thinking of making loads of money. Of course loads of money can be made but it can’t be done overnight. The person aspiring for that should have patience, never give up if you keyword does no show required traffic. Keep on trying till you succeed. There is a lot of scope in this field.

In the last I explained about different techniques on how to optimize a blog for the search engines. Now when a blog is on the first page of the search engine for a competitive keyword then it obviously will generate a huge traffic.

What to do with this traffic. This traffic is worth a lot. I think everyone must be familiar with the Adsense. From the blogger blog you can directly log on to the Adsense. Through which you can keep the relevant ads on your blog.

When anyone clicks on these ads you will be awarded with some percentage of the share. If you have more traffic then you’re blog will generate more clicks and obviously your revenue increases. Thus more traffic more revenue.

You can also optimize a blog for more than one relevant keyword instead of creating another blog for that keyword. For example if your blog is perfectly optimized for Make money online. Then it will be shown on the first page for that keyword. If you a post on how to earn online in India then you can optimize that page for the keyword earn online in India by sending backlinks to that page. This way you can get traffic for more than one keyword and can increase the revenue of your blog.

You can also make some fast cash using the technorati.com. First you have to register your blog in this site and ping it whenever you have any new content on your site. Unlike other search engines Technorati provides with the latest updates on the blogs. So whenever you ping the blog it will be listed top for the keyword of your content. Of course you will loose your place in a few mins but you will be getting handy traffic through which you can have some bucks.

In the last post I mentioned the use of the article sites for getting backlinks. The following are a few article sites which can be used for the generation of backlinks. There are still many more of them but I can’t list them all. Start your project using these sites and as times goes on search for some more article sites and add them to your list.

For those who have just joined you can catch us by reading the first post on How to make money online.

In this page we are going to discuss about the on page and off page optimization. Before entering into that I want to say a very important fact that the keyword (the word that you’re targeting for search engine optimization) should be included in the address of your blog. If the main keyword is not available then try adding some other words or make changes to the original one by adding ‘-‘.

The next step is the on page optimization. It is nothing but the care that should be taken before writing the post on your blog regarding the keyword or the topic that you have selected. It is better if you include your main keyword in the blog title.

Keyword should be included in your post. But certain limits should be followed before the keywords are included in your post. If excess of keywords are found in your post then Google may ban your site.

24 keywords can be included for every 400 words of your post. It is better if you follow this rule.

Its better you have a study on blogs or websites which rank top on search engines first. Have a study on their page rank, content etc…

View the source of those sites. You can view it by using the source option on the view tab of tool bar. By opening the source you can find the keyword included under the header, the words which are bold, the words included under inverted commas etc... If that site doesn’t have the main keyword in the header then you try putting it in the header.

Try writing long posts including the keywords in it. Google likes long posts and hence it may benefit you and may place you in better position.

After this we have to switch to the off page optimization. Off page optimization is the important step and the raking of your blog mainly depends on this. It is the optimization that involves the backlinks. Backlinks are the links that link back to your site from other sources. The more backlinks you have the better you get ranked.

But now the Google is also analyzing the site from which we get the backlink. It also checks the page rank of the site which llinks back to you. So if you have a few links from good page rank sites you will be ranked well. If you get those links from irrelevant sites then you may get ranked but you may not have you may not have good position in search engines.

But it is really hard getting backlinks from high PR sites and that relevant ones. Of course we can buy them but for beginners it not advisable. It’s better if they invest after getting quite a good experience in this field.

Then How to get backlinks? Don’t worry there are many other ways to get these backlinks. The first and foremost thing is through article sites. Just rewrite the article that you have posted in your blog and submit it to the article site. They will publish your article in their site. You have to put hyperlinks with your keywords in the anchor text.

In this you will get backlinks from the article site. It’s better to submit your article to as many article sites as you can. It’s better if you submit it to more article sites. If the article site does not accept links in the text then put it in the resource box provide at the bottom.

If anyone likes your text and copies then he will put the text along with hyperlinks in it and this may advantage you getting even more backlinks.

The other way of getting backlinks is through Web 2.0 social networking sites like mix.com, dig.com and propeller.com. Just post a article on these sites and if your article gets more number of votes then your article gets to the front pages on the search engines and the link may get more powerful.

The last and final method used by a few people is by creating hubpages and squidoo lenses. Google likes them very much and easy to get them indexed. But we should also send some backlinks to these pages.

The main and important factor is that is we need to have patience. Google may sometimes take to index your blog or it may sandbox them. If you do everything right then Google surely indexes your blog. It may also take some time before you blog gets to the first page. But never give, once you start getting the traffic to your site then you can just sit back and earn a lot.

Before starting the discussion on “How to make money online” lets have a look over the questions haunting your mind like

Do I need a website?

Do I need to invest?

Do I need to have any previous experiences?

And all crappy questions like dat. If you have any of them then there is nothing to worry about that you are going to get the right answers for them here.

For beginners it’s better if they don’t buy or own a website. It’s is better if they use a blog instead of a website and about investment it’s better to do it after you get confidence that you are going to make money online.

The best and legitimate way to get a good income online is through search engine optimization. Just create a blog on a particular topic and optimize it for the search engines like Google, yahoo and msn. There are several other search engines but their count is negligible.

The most important search engine among them is the Google search engine. It’s constitutes more than 70% of search volume on the global internet. So it’s to focus on Google than any other search engine. For that first we have to focus on how Google gives position to different sites on its search engine. We have to get our site onto the first page so that we can get a good traffic.

For this the Google follows some rules and regulations. Its assigns some ranks to the websites so as to place them in particular position in the search engine. It ranks different sites or blogs for a score of 10. The more rank u have its more better.

There are different factors which affect the Google rank. The first one is the originality of the content written or u have on your site. The second is the backlinks that follow to your site. The more the backlinks u have from other sites the more rank u have.

It is not essential that you have more backlinks you can also have a few backlinks from good ranking sites which can get you a good ranking to your site. But how to get backlinks? I’ll get back to it later.

If u have no backlinks but have written original content for about a year then u may have a ranking of about 1/10 or 2/10. But if u have a few backlinks from Pr 5 and Pr6 blogs then your ranking will rise to 5 or 6.

The first and foremost step in this process is selection of a niche. Niche is nothing but the topic that you are going to select and create a blog or website on it and optimize it for the search engines.

The selection of niche is very important. A niche should be selected based on the traffic that it has or based on the search volume it has. There are many free tools on internet which gives us information on this topic.

Then after the selection of the niche create a website or blog on it. I suggest everyone is to create a blog as it is simple to create and it has more possibility to get indexed on Google. Though if your niche doesn’t workout then you have nothing to loose as it is just a free blog nothing more.

To create a blog just log on to blogger.com and login using Gmail account and create a blog of your own. Set the settings so that it is free for exposure to the search engines. You have this option in the settings tab after creating your blog.

Care should be taken such that the address should have the keyword that you are targeting in for optimization on search engine.
